We love this homemade pancake recipe! It is a super easy recipe with staple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients (serves 6-8 small pancakes)
- 1.5 cups of flour
- 3.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.25 cups sugar
- 1.25 cups Almond milk or whole milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)*
Instructions for the best homemade pancake recipe!
First, melt butter in the microwave or stovetop. Remove from heat and let rest.
Second, mix dry ingredients well. Combine milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk all ingredients until just combined.
Third, heat lightly oiled griddle or pan and add the desired amount of pancake batter. We usually measure about 1/3 cup of mixture that provides 6-8 pancakes. Flip pancake when bubbles form on the top.

After the pancakes cool down, place parchment paper in between each pancake and store in a freezer bag. The parchment paper prevents individual pancakes from sticking to each other.
